Anyone else blink and wake up at the end of December? Haha
If you are like us, 2024 seems to have flown by!
To recap, in January, we were getting everything ready for us to make the big move into the missionary life. In February, we answered our call to “Go”! We went on several deep bush camping missions this year. We have hiked into many villages, shared the Gospel message, prayed and encouraged many along the way. We got to meet many new people, and even made some new friends!
Heidi got to be a part of a women’s conference in Kenya in August, and attend women’s conference here in the States in September. She was blessed to be able to go to our home church’s women’s away retreat in October.
A friend put together a fundraiser for us in October, where we got so loved on! Billy had surgery on his back in November, and that came with many appointments. We have visited our partnering churches. We have been able to meet up with people, even throughout this recovery process. Heidi was able to participate in a vendor market in December. She also got the incredible opportunity to be the guest speaker at a women’s event that month.
While ministry has looked different throughout the year, we are thankful to still answer the call and say “Here I am Lord. Send me!”
