Billy had surgery on his back and recovery has proved to be very challenging. As you could imagine, we have had many appointments scattered throughout the past couple of months.
We have also looked for ways to continue to live out a life of generosity. One of the ways we got to do this is by joining Grace Life Church in their goal of feeding 25 families for Thanksgiving. We were so grateful to be here and been able to be a part of this!
Heidi has had the opportunity to get to meet with women and pray for them. And oh my stars, that has been an incredible experience!! These brave ladies said yes to giving a stranger their number, and to receive daily prayers!
We are also trying to find some type of balance in taking pictures to share with everyone and just serving others. It is way harder than you would think!!
Matthew 6:3 says, “ But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,..”
At the same time, we know from our own past experience, we loved to see all of the pictures from the organizations we were donating to over the years! It felt as if we were there, at times.
We have tried to spend as much time with family and friends, and we are so thankful for this time!
We have had the opportunity to share at a few different Bible studies and women’s groups. We are end up being encouraged by those we are getting to meet and talk with!
What an incredible learning, faith-stretching, and growing journey this has been and, no doubt, will continue to be!!
