What an incredible month it has been!
I got to start out the month helping a friend meal prep. And what a great time we had!
Then I got the opportunity to travel to see a precious friend. A friend that I hadn’t seen in YEARS!
But the day before I was scheduled to fly out, I met with a surgeon for a second opinion regarding my gallbladder being removed.
He came into the room saying that I was the first patient to have that complete of a workup. He asked some questions, and then he began to explain what he noticed from all of the reports. He then said that he would have to send me home today, but that we will get everything scheduled so I can get to feeling better.
The next morning Billy took me to the airport! I could hardly believe it! Was I really about to see my friend after so many years?
Well, I boarded that first flight and began to look for a seat.
I met a lovely couple, Robert and Teressa. After a few minutes, we began to talk. I even got to meet a few of their family members! But God knew exactly who I needed to sit by. I was so encouraged by our conversation.
On the second flight, I met a man named David. He recently returned from a trip to Kenya! Plus this trip was last minute get-a-way for him.
Why did I share that? Because these two conversations were 100% God directed! For the week leading up to this adventure, my team and I were praying. We prayed and asked God for Kingdom connections and conversations that refresh the Spirit. And boy did they ever! This was just the beginning of this trip!!
I was so excited when I landed in Reno. My friend would be waiting outside to snatch me up! Or would she?
No! That girl came inside and met me at baggage pick up! LOL Plus all three “kids” were with her!! Oh my stars!! Hugs all around!
