How is it June??? Where did February through May go?

It has been a busy few months here. We have had a few teams come serve alongside Mahali pa Maisha. And we have two more teams set for this year before our furlough back Stateside! These willing hearts have been a blessing and the extra hands have been a gift. As we used to say it, “Many hands make the work light”.
Can I be REAL with ya for a moment? We are not known for pausing to take photos so that we can share with you. Nope, we usually have our hands busy. And there are many precautions, as we want to make sure we are making every effort to protect the little ones entrusted to our care.
So, it can be a bit tough to write about all of the things we have been doing. Only because the focus is on remaining obedient to God and watching what He is doing in ALL THE THINGS! That is what it is really about anyway.
We get to do what we do BECAUSE OF JESUS!! And boy are we thankful! We could NOT do this on our own. He sets it all up. We just get to be a part of His grand plan of rescuing & restoring, training & teaching, and just loving well those He puts in our path!
One thing that I can share is that God is opening up doors and making waves! While we don’t fully understand the process sometimes, we do TRUST His character! And we are excited!
