It’s almost tomorrow already?

These past two months have gone by so quickly! Seriously, anyone feeling that with me?

It feels like we just got Stateside last week.

We have been so blessed to get to see as many of our family members and partners! These moments fill our hearts. We even had some members of previous teams come see us! Just amazed!!!

Billy & I made visits to Nevada, Oklahoma, and a couple of places in Texas this time around. And just WOW! God really blew us away! God opened doors and made connections that we could not have expected. And it is truly incredible!! Some God-sized things are coming over this next year!

There were very few days that we didn’t have something on the calendar. (I am pretty sure it was 2 in 60 days to be honest.) Many days, we had two-three appointments scheduled so that everything could fit.

Today, we do our final preparations for our return home tomorrow. What does that look like?

We are trying to load up these suitcases with items we are needing to take back to Africa. Do you know the struggle of trying to keep many bags under 50lbs, but also trying to make sure items are spread out and won’t break if items shift while in transit? Multiply that by however many bags that we are taking back with us! The first two bags loaded makes you think that it will be an easy process this go around. But by bag #3, you realize that it was a false thinking!! And we feel like newbies ALL OVER AGAIN! LOL

We have started a tote with items to make the trip next or when a local team comes. We have a tote of things we will need to take over to the storage, as we have been staying with family and we want to remove all of our belongings from their home. We will need to drop off some suitcases over to our friend’s house so we can get the car we have been borrowing returned in the morning.

Normally, a final trip to the bank and last hugs from kids. But the guys are at work today…..

Then trying everything within our power to get a GOOD night of sleep before a full day of traveling!

As detailed as we are, we always feel like we are forgetting something!

Are you still with me?

So this leads us to our travel to the airport, and the beginning of our journey home that all goes down tomorrow!

We have loved our time here, but we are ready to return home to Kenya.
