“For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.” Ecclesiastes 3:1 NLT
SO MUCH has happened! Where do I even begin?
Billy and I have had a repeat prayer of “Lord continue to guide our steps. You have called us to be Your hands and feet; show us where you need us most.”
It has been answered with “grow where I currently have you, and wait well”.
In that waiting, God has allowed us to see Him move, meet some incredible people that have come for a short-term mission trip, and build some good relationships. He has allowed us to partner with Him in ministry, praying for others, and bringing the Gospel message to some who had not yet heard about Jesus.
Over the course of the past few weeks, God was saying get ready. But get ready for what? What were His plans for us? And will these plans involve a BIG change or a SMALL changes? And can we have a road map to go with the changes? Lol
(Definitely not how faith walking works. But I sure hope it made my Heavenly Father chuckle when it was asked.)
Well, it was definitely a change!
God opened some doors for us here at Be Hope International! We have a feeling that He isn’t done just yet either. He is just getting started!
Here is what we know so far:
He has blessed us with a small house to rent; and create a home base for BHI. And it happened FAST!
He gifted us with neighbors who are also about His mission!
He is setting us up for community, and lining up many opportunities to be His hands and feet to those around us.
We have had a few teams reach out to set up a short term mission trip experience for this next year, and we are EXCITED for each one!
So bring on the change!!
Change is where we grow. And God is growing us closer to Himself. How could that ever be anything but GOOD!?!?
For now, we will get home base settled and ready to receive teams. We will continue to ask the Holy Spirit “whatcha got for me today!” And we will keep faith-walking (even without a map). We will say yes to change and growing closer to God’s heart. We will continue to grow, seek Godly counsel, and ways to continue to be His hands and feet to those around us.
I’m excited. Billy’s excited. We hope you are excited too!
